Run baby run

Got in a run before a day filled to the brim with activity...very excited as it felt like I was going really slow, but turns out I was pretty much spot on for my normal pace. And, this is the longest run I have done since January 20th. I am back on track for race training! I'll be back at 5.50 miles in no time as long as I keep my focus and don't push too hard.

Also, I worked at letting myself slow my pace multiple times during this run, really slow...and based on todays's results it works because it gave me the brief pause in going full speed to build up my energy again to go further and a little faster. Will be doing this more often!
