guilt

This weekend is another busy one on tap. The good news is that I've learned some valuable lessons from last weekend's party hardy weekend. Namely, making sure I take the TIME to take care of my fitness needs and nutrition needs. Its funny the amount of guilt that is somewhat attached to putting oneself first. But if this lifestyle is to be just that, my LIFE style, than those in your life will adapt.

In my case, I've experienced nothing but support, i'm a lucky girl that way. My biggest obstacle is that nasty little voice of guilt that tells me "who do you think you are, taking time for yourself!?". (please note: I do not literally here voices in my head! :)

But its a fight I'm up for winning. I'm a better person, a happier person when i'm doing the one thing, I never thought I would. Its a shock to lots of people, my new found loves of fitness, nutrition, running...and its one that I believe is here to stay. And believe me, no one is more shocked than me.
